I thought instead of listing every single thing that’s in my fridge I’ll do a list of 10 things which you will ALWAYS find there!
I love fruit soooo much, I always have and I probably always will. I mainly keep apples, plums and kiwis on a weekly basis. I find fruit is a great snack, definitely when I’m craving something sweet!
I’m a coffee lover so milk is a must, it’s also definitely an essential for some foods like omelettes which I have before I go to the gym.
Me boyfriend I love spicy food, so we always have at least 1 kind of hot sauce in the fridge at all times At the moment we have Nandos Peri Peri and Nandos Garlic Sauce.
My favourite breakfast meal is granola, greek yoghurt and honey!
Where it’s only me and my boyfriend we usually cook more than what we actually eat! It makes the perfect lunch the next day.
This has been a game-changer in getting myself to snack on raw veggies. I always include some sort of veg at each lunch and dinner, but used to find myself looking for a carby snack as soon as I walked in the door from work. Now I’m in the habit of cutting up enough veggies for a couple of days and portioning some hummus into little containers. Perfect after-work snack to carry me through until dinner.
Water hydrates you and for me tastes better. Yes, water has a taste and don’t tell me the other way around! I prefer cold water from the fridge oppose to from the tap.
I hardly eat or use butter but it’s an essential in most cooking and baking that I like to do! (Also when I’m craving a buttery crumpet)
This ingredient is so important! I just think it adds a great kick to foods like lasagne, bolognese and other meals like that.
I find these are perfect for a quick snack, I have this alongside hummus which I mentioned above!
